General Information


GUARANTEE
Our Professional Banquet Staff will provide you with the finest of service. However, we need your assistance in making your banquet a success.

 

 

REFUND/DEPOSIT POLICY
Deposits are nonrefundable and nontransferable, and commit customer to 90% of estimated count/cost.

 

 

SEATING
A floor plan detailing setup and table arrangements, as well as table numbers can be provided at your request.

 

 

PAYMENTS
Unless credit has been approved by our Credit Department, estimated payment in full is required at time of guarantee (5 days in advance) in the form of cash, money order or cashier’s check made payable to Capistrano’s. Any additional charges are due at the conclusion of the function.

 

 

MINIMUMS

Beverage: A $100.00 Bartender charge (plus service charge and tax) per bartender will apply to any private bar set-up, should less than $500.00 in sales be achieved. No alcoholic beverages may be dispensed unless provided by our Banquet Department.



Please confirm your expected attendance no less than five (5) days in advance. This will be considered your minimum guarantee not subject to reduction.

We will be prepared to serve an additional 5% of guaranteed guest attendance.

Function rooms are assigned by the number of guests anticipated to attend. The Catering Department reserves the right to change assigned rooms to comfortably accommodate your guests.

 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be sent in writing to Capistrano’s Catering Department Office as per terms and conditions of confirmation/contract agreements.

 

 

DECORATIONS
All decorations must meet with the local fire department specifications and approval. Recommendations for floral arrangements are available through our Catering Department. The Hotel will not permit the affixing of anything to the walls, floors or ceiling of rooms with nails, staples, tape or any other substance unless prior approval is given by the Catering Department.

 

 

MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT
Recommendations for entertainment are available through our Catering Department. For evening functions, all music must end at midnight. Dance floor available at 100.00 plus service charge and tax.

All entertainment must supply their own extension cords and duct tape. All cords must be safely secured. Music and entertainment are subject to the terms of our "Entertainment Agreement" where applicable.

 

 

LINENS
Ask about our wide variety of tablecloth and napkin colors. A nominal fee will be charged for special orders.

 

 

SECURITY
The Catering Department shall not assume the responsibility for the loss or damage of any articles or merchandise left in the public function space. Security arrangements for exhibits, merchandise or articles must be made prior to your function through the Catering Department.

 

 

WEDDING SERVICES
For this most important event in your life, a highly trained and experienced staff is at your service to assist you in making your arrangements. Our garden atrium is the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony.

 

 

AUDIO-VISUAL EQUIPMENT
All state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment may be arranged through our Catering Department.

 

 

SERVICE CHARGE AND TAX
All prices are subject to a mandatory taxable service charge plus applicable state and local taxes.

No food or beverage can be brought to or removed from the hotel.
